April 1st Community Garden – back of the SACWA building off Angas St

If you have an hour to spare on Saturday April the 1st (3:30-4:30) we have a few bigger tasks to do at the garden and any extra help would be appreciated. Tasks include :

Cut asparagus ferns down to ground level and cover their bed with soil
Empty the Compost tumbler
Dig over the strawberry bed and spread the compost over it
Cut up asparagus ferns into empty tumbler
Tidy up the tomatoes – cut all dead stalks off
Plant seedlings

All tools and seedlings etc will be supplied, you only need gloves. A social catch up and drink may take place afterwards if people are interested. We’d love to see you there and we promise it will be only one hour (maybe less..)
