Sunday 31st October was our most recent Community Garden working bee. The veggies planted in October are growing well. Jane planted 3 punnets of beetroot seedlings and we tidied the citrus bed and watered. There was not much to be done because things are growing so well.
The broad beans are flourishing and need to be picked regularly so please visit the garden and help yourself. There are also plenty of lettuce (cos, mignonette and oakleaf) as well as silverbeet/spinach ready to be picked. The strawberries are starting to ripen quickly too.
Next working bee is Sunday November 28th at 1.30pm.
