Moving the wicking bed

Recently the SACWA asked us to move the third wicking box back against the wall because someone had tripped going around it, into the kitchen. David and I went to the garden on Thursday 4th March to move it and two people staying in the SACWA accommodation offered to help. Raymond and Patricia took over the job, David assisted and I took photos. It was a beautiful autumn day, they were at a loose end and we really appreciated their muscle and brain power! Thanks so much Raymond and Patricia.

Most times when a KTRA person is at the garden, someone staying in the SACWA accommodation will come out for a chat about the garden and what KTRA is doing. The garden is a great community connector, not only for us in Kent Town but for the wider community associated with the SACWA.
